Industry + Academic Experience
My industry experiences range from artificial intelligence and machine learning to software engineering to cloud engineering through professional work and internships. I also have experience in both research and teaching through academic positions.
After one year of working, I was promoted to an AI/ML Research Engineer at Lockheed Martin. My work focuses on using large language models to generate unit test cases for the Orion code base. I am also responsible for deploying and configuring AI models across multiple Kubernetes environments, so that other teams can effectively demo my team's AI capabilities.

Upon graduating from Virginia Tech, I started working as an AI/ML Research Engineer Associate at Lockheed Martin. I have been working on the research and development of large language models for text decomposition. My research includes techniques used for high-performing prompt engineering and fine-tuning methods for large language models.

During my time at Virginia Tech, I was an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the InfoVis Lab, advised by Dr. Chris North. My research lies in interactive machine learning. Through research, I learned a lot about dimension reduction algorithms such as MDS, T-SNE, and PCA, as well as GUI design.

During my time at Virginia Tech, I have served as an undergraduate teaching assistant for a variety of classes within the Computer Science department, ranging from introductory level to even graduate level. As a teaching assistant, I was responsible for hosting office hours, grading assignments, and even giving lectures to supplement projects and homeworks to ensure that students had a fruitful learning experience.

In the Summer of 2022, I was a software engineering intern at CACI International Inc. Through the internship, I gained experience with front end tools such as ReactJS and GatsbyJS, data science tools such as Power Bi, and working in an Agile environment. I also obtained my Certification as a GitLab Associate.
